Personal templates overview
When Templates appears in your sidebar, that area is where you work with reusable patterns for documents or forms your account is allowed to create. Exact capabilities depend on your plan and what your organization (if any) has shared with you.
Why templates matter
- They standardize recurring paperwork: you start from the same structure each time.
- They connect naturally to My Documents, where finished or in-progress instances often appear.
Relationship to autofill
- Templates + My Documents = structured work inside hivi.
- hivi autofill = speeding up external websites in Chrome.
Many people use both: build accurate data through in-app documents, then rely on the same profile when a third-party site asks similar questions.
Getting started
Open Templates from the navigation and follow the in-app prompts to create or open a template your role supports. Template libraries differ by account type and permissions—your sidebar shows the libraries available to you.
