Autofill Ontario Ltb Landlord Application

File your LTB landlord application without retyping your contact details

Every Landlord and Tenant Board landlord application (L-form) asks for the landlord's name, address, and contact information alongside unit and tenant details. This guide is an example of storing the repeating landlord fields in hivi.

Official form and source

Start from the official Ontario source and always use the current version — forms and filing procedures can change:

What these applications are about

Landlords can file L-form applications with the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) to resolve issues under the Residential Tenancies Act — including applications for non-payment of rent, ending a tenancy, or collecting unpaid rent after an order. Applications are submitted through the Tribunals Ontario Portal.

Before you start: what to gather

  • Your full name, address, and contact details (as landlord).
  • The rental unit address and tenant's name.
  • Documentation — lease agreement, rent ledger, notices already served.

Confirm the applicable L-form and filing process through the LTB's Tribunals Ontario Portal.

How hivi makes it faster

  1. Store your landlord details once. Save your name, address, and contact details in hivi.
  2. Autofill the landlord fields. Use the hivi Chrome extension on the Tribunals Ontario Portal, or fill a PDF from your saved profile inside hivi.
  3. Enter tenant and unit details yourself — these are tenancy-specific.
  4. Attach supporting documents and submit through the Portal.

Why do it in hivi

Landlord name, address, and contact details repeat on every LTB filing, notice, and certificate. Stored once in hivi — in Canada, with self-hosted AI — each application starts mostly filled.
